While creating the Computer Security Program for Mission Operations at Johnson Space Center, I was also teaching college classes at night. One day on a trip from Houston to Austin I stopped into a Wendy's. The lady behind the counter said, "I know you. You are the professor that taught me about computers. Today is my last day in this job. Tomorrow I start a job using what you taught me."
It is difficult to put value into helping others, but the mission here is do just that.
The name is an obvious spinoff of Johnny Appleseed. Where he planted apple seeds, we are planting security seeds to accomplish the mission.
To educate people about the risks to their information and to motivate people to become Cyber Security Professionals. We also provide cybersecurity advisory services.
The home of Cyber Security Sam TM
If we keep one child or grandparent from being scammed, or one company from being hacked, or enable one business to be able to avoid a cyber event, we will have accomplished our mission.
Whereas most businesses are focused on the creation of income, as our mission points out, we are here to improve the awareness and processes by which individuals and companies can protect their information.
In the place of getting advice from a person that may have studied information protection for maybe 10 years, Johnny Security Seed provides you guidance from a certified, seasoned, information security professional who helped to define our industry and who has created several security programs.
Our focus is to provide you with the WHAT and the WHY you need to protect your information. We will then direct you to WHO can do the HOW (with our continued guidance if requested). This allows you total ownership of the protection of your data at a price that you can afford.
